Research Coordinator
- A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in a related field such as sociology, development studies, economics, or a relevant discipline.
- 2 years experience for the bachelor’s degree and 1-year experience for the master’s degree in managing research works, writing proposals, research methodologies, data collection, and analysis is highly desirable.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with research team members, participants, and stakeholders.
- Accurate data collection, documentation, and adherence to research protocols.
- Understanding of ethical considerations in research, including participant confidentiality, informed consent, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with research-related software and databases.
Writer / Journalist / Reporter (For English and Nepali language)
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communications, or a related field.
- Prior 1-year experience in writing, journalism, or reporting is highly desirable.
- Strong writing skills with an excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and style conventions.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging articles, reports, features, or news stories.
- Proficiency in conducting thorough research to gather accurate information and verify facts.
- Ability to conduct effective interviews with sources to gather information, quotes, and insights for articles or stories.
- Ability to critically evaluate information, identify newsworthy stories, and offer unique perspectives or angles.
- Understanding of journalistic ethics, including principles of accuracy, fairness, impartiality, and integrity.
Junior Graphic Designer
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, fine arts, or a related field.
- Prior one year experience in the relevant industry is highly desirable.
- Mastery of industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Understanding of typography principles, including font selection, spacing, and hierarchy.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in design, including color schemes, contrast, and harmony.
- Ability to create visually appealing layouts and compositions for digital media.
- Proficiency in image editing and manipulation techniques to enhance photographs and graphics.
- Ability to conceptualize and solve design challenges creatively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design execution.
WordPress Developer
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, information technology, or a related field is preferable.
- Prior 1-year experience in the relevant industry and minimum 2 demonstrable projects.
- In-depth understanding of WordPress core functionality, including themes, plugins, hooks, and custom post types.
- Strong knowledge of HTML for structuring web pages and techniques for optimizing website performance, including minification, caching, and image optimization.
- Familiarity with JavaScript for adding interactivity and dynamic features to websites.
- Proficiency in PHP, the programming language used by WordPress, for creating custom themes, plugins, and functionality.
- Understanding of MySQL database management for WordPress sites.
- Ability to create responsive and mobile-friendly websites using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Understanding of WordPress security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles and techniques for optimizing WordPress websites for better visibility in search engine results.
Event Coordinator
- A bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior 1-year experience in event planning, coordination, or related roles is highly desirable. This may include internships, volunteer work, or employment with event planning companies, venues, corporations, nonprofits, or universities.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously to execute all aspects of an event, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, scheduling, and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for liaising with clients, vendors, sponsors, attendees, and team members.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensures that all elements of an event come together seamlessly.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management is necessary to ensure events are executed within budgetary constraints.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of adjusting to evolving circumstances, last-minute requests, and unforeseen challenges while maintaining composure and professionalism.
